CDISC Coordinating Committees Update


CDISC Coordinating Committees (3Cs) support CDISC initiatives and establish relationships with global organizations and regulatory entities in a specific region of the world. Each committee develops a plan of action in alignment with the CDISC strategic goals to promote CDISC and encourage the broad adoption of CDISC standards in their area of the world.


At this time of the year, CDISC Coordinating Committees have made significant progress and accomplishments, which we would like to share with our loyal audience!


E3C Update:


The European CDISC Coordinating Committee (E3C) is very actively involved in the CDISC mission. E3C members meet monthly via phone and twice a year face-to-face to discuss current updates about any CDISC related activities or projects within their regions and plan for any future CDISC related meetings and events. The E3C planned ahead for the CDISC European Interchanges 2014 and 2015. The upcoming CDISC European Interchange will be held on 4-7 April 2014 in Paris, France (http://www.cdisc.org/interchange?a=6630#6630). Abstracts are being accepted through 16 December 2013; these can be submitted online through the following link: http://cdisc.wufoo.com/forms/cdisc-interchange-europe-call- for-abstracts/.


As another project to increase awareness of CDISC in Europe and to provide a more intimate atmosphere for discussions , the E3C has decided to organize a set of CDISC Days. The first of these will be CDISC Day on 21 October 2013 in Marlow, UK. This even has limited seating and is filling quickly. J3C Update:


The Japanese CDISC Coordinating Committee (J3C) will be holding their 2013 CDISC Japan Interchange in Tokyo on 3-6 December! Conference abstracts are being accepted until 18 October 2013.
