18 MCCA’S 14TH ANNUAL GENERAL COUNSEL SURVEY:
For the past 14 years MCCA has cataloged the country’s top general counsel by gender and race. The data show that women general counsel are making progress in industries across the board, particularly in ‘hard hat’ jobs that were traditionally held by men. Minority general counsel also made progress, adding three GCs in the Fortune® 500 and four additional GCs in the Fortune® 1000. Six general counsel are profiled this year: Sharon Barner, Cummins; Ivonne Cabrera, Dover; John Chou, AmerisourceBergen; Ricardo Nu ñez, HD Supply; Laura Stein, Clorox; and Larry Thompson, PepsiCo.
