New All Fibreglass Step Climbs To
The Pinnacle Of Safety TB Davies ladders today unveiled details of its new heavy-duty all fibreglass swing back stepladder. The step which forms part of the firms Pinnacle™ range, is the only all glass fibre step available to the mainstream buyer. Bob Baldock, the General Manager of TB Davies, said: “All glass fibre products
have been the preserve of the utility industry in the past. We have worked on the technology to deliver that quality and level of safety to our customers who are electricians, contractors, satellite installers, and working professional in industry. “We are experiencing a lot of demand for this type of ladder as well as future
glass fibre articulating models we are going to launch.” The specially formulated and nonconductive black fibreglass resin composite
resists ultra-violet damage. Whilst the high performance top cap and anti-slip treads are finished in orange to create a ladder that really stands out in busy working environments. “The Pinnacle all fibreglass ladder has created an entirely new category of
stepladders,” said Francis Camilleri, Sales Manager. “It changes the landscape, and again strengthens our position as the innovation leader in the ladder industry. Not only is it bringing added safety to our customers, it demonstrates our commitment to setting new standards in ladder innovation and brings products previously only available to specialists markets to the day-to-day pro-user.” The Pinnacle™ steps are certified to EN131 and are braced under every tread
for additional stability and durability. Other features include a wide stance for lateral stability and oversized feet that ensure 100% contact with the ground to minimise any movement when climbing the steps. The top cap is constructed from injected thermoplastic resin used in
motorcycle helmets and again designed for daily use. The moulding has space for power tools and accessories with a conveniently located hook on the reverse suitable for a bucket or cables. The Pinnacle™ All Fibreglass Swing back step is ideal for use in electrical,
chemical or hygiene sensitive environments. The industrial design can even withstand extreme weather conditions from the integral benefit of the all fibre construction that minimises the chance of electric shock. The new step will be available at builder’s merchants, industrial supply
companies, and home improvement centres nationwide from this summer. Reply No. 9
