A gusty crosswind mars Mitch Buckley’s otherwise perfect landing record (above left) with Bob Rullie’s Me-262. Mitch and Bob placed second in Team. Bob Rullie prepares the all fiberglass Me-262 (above right) for another sortie.


WWI subjects such as this Nieuport 11 (below left) were also popular although high winds on Sunday proved difficult for these particular models. Joey Tamez’s beautifully detailed BAE Hawk(below right) comes in on a smooth final.


Australian Craige Bryson’s 71-inch Gladiator (above) had to be seen to be believed. Brutally windy conditions played havoc with his flights, but he achieved a high static in Unlimited. Every detail, from the simulated aluminum covered tail surfaces (above, at right) to the radial engine, exhaust stacks and cockpit doors with sliding canopy (at right) were captured in minute detail.
