OK Cub .049A Engine

OK Engine Company (formerly Herkimer Tool & Model Works) in Mohawk, NY is celebrating 75 years of manufacturing model airplane engines and parts in the USA. They also provide an engine repair service for some of the 2 million model engines that they have produced since 1938. In 2013 they have added an all new, large (3⁄8–24) glow plug to their complete line of American made glow plugs and glow heads. The new HOT G-1 is specifically designed for old timer, nostalgia, and freeflight events that use older engines requiring more lubricant in the fuel mix. Also for a limited time in 2013, OK Engines will be offering their venerable OK Cub .049A engine with a choice of glow plug or the HOT glow head cylinder option. The OK Engine Museum has reopened this year (by appointment) after having closed due to flooding in 2006 and 2011. Visitors will be treated to a half-hour slide show, tour of the museum artifacts and demonstration of any production occurring on the day of the visit.

Visit their website for details or catalog information or write to them at the address below.
