GM Invests $332 Million for New Fuel-Effi cient Powertrains General Motors Co.,
Detroit, will invest nearly $332 million in four man- ufacturing sites to produce more fuel-effi cient engines and transmissions. Invest- ments will be made at Flint Engine Operations, Flint, Mich., for a new small Ecotec gasoline engine and upgraded tooling for the current V6 engine.
