ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD’S one man outfit may be stretching the definition of ‘squad’ (‘a small group of people having a particular task’), but back in the day when they started out there were two of them rather than the singular Nat Self.


Somehow, though, Nat’s still keeping up the output of two men, and his new ‘Classic Through The Eyes Of... Zombie Disco Squad’ comp is our favourite in the label’s renaissance. So what better way to pay tribute that to mine his current playlist?


Friends Jesse Rose and Claude VonStroke both contribute edits to the album, alongside plenty of Zombie Disco Squad’s own, including our favourite, the dub-laden ‘Q’ by Joshua. It’s not all an inside job though, with Tripmastaz helping launch DJ Sneak’s label I’m A House Gangster and Wildchild – of ‘Renegade Master’ fame – sampling a classic slice of Dance Mania on ‘Work’.
