MANAGING YOUR PRACTICE

Our aim is to make sure all practices, regardless of their size, have access to the resources they need to develop and grow.

E C N HELPING EMPOWER SMALL PRACTICES

Our research showed that many small practice owners had difficulty finding useful and relevant information about the business side of the law. Over the past couple of years we’ve worked hard to change that.

THE SMALL PRACTICE PORTAL

In March 2012 we launched the Small Practice Portal, an online resource specifically designed to help small practitioners establish and grow a successful business. The Small Practice Portal taps into the knowledge of a range of business and legal experts who provide members with guidance on each step of a practice owner’s business journey.

SMALLTALK The Small Practice Portal is complemented by smalltalk, a bi-monthly e-newsletter which discusses current issues associated with running a small or mid-sized practice. Smalltalk’s contributors include some of Australia’s most well-known business and legal practice consultants, as well as experts from within the Law Society of NSW and practice owners themselves.

Smalltalk is automatically sent to all practice owners in firms of up to 20 partners. However, all members can read current and past issues on our website and can also choose to be added to our mailing list.
