The Law Society has been selected by the Law Association for Asia and the Pacific (LAWASIA) as its Australian host from August 2013.

Our relationship with LAWASIA gives us a unique opportunity to contribute directly to its efforts in advancing the administration of justice, rule of law and human rights, as well as the capacity to strengthen the legal profession in our region.

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

Now in its third year, our Thought Leadership program plays an important role in leading discussion, raising awareness and changing behaviour on issues that impact on the profession. In 2013, our focus will turn to ‘business’ with topics such as fraud, bribery and corruption and the Asian Century. Our popular Luncheon Series will also continue with updated statistics and a progress report on the Advancement of Women in the Profession project.
