Revolutionising ready- mix concrete
Mixamate – the UK’s leading provider of mix on site concrete and screed – is single-handedly revolutionising the ready mix concrete industry through a series of new machines says managing director Chris Smith.
M
ixamate’s latest invention, the Concrete Pumping Truck, is a brand new form of
machine that provides delivery, mixing, and pumping of concrete from a single vehicle.
Already successfully launched in the UK, the Concrete Pumping Truck eliminates the need for Rail & Building Contractors to hire a separate pump.
Attached directly to the truck’s mixing pan, the on-board pump is capable of pumping concrete from up to 50 metres via hose directly from pan to trench.
This significantly reduces the machinery and labour costs associated with rail and building contracting, and increases accessibility to sites.
It also slashes waiting and delivery times, and completely removes the administration, storage and cleaning processes involved with hiring a
stand-alone concrete pump. This new machine follows the successful launch of Mixamate’s pioneering Screed Pumping Truck, which comes with similar capabilities for screed.
Conceived by the company in 2012, the Screed Pumping Truck has already had an impact on the screeding industry, with high demand for the ‘All-in-One’ service having prompted Mixamate to put further Screed Pumping Trucks into manufacturing in 2013.
Both sets of technology are built on the strength of the Mixamate Conqueror Mixing Truck – a unique machine that was invented by the company in 2007 to provide a more quality alternative to standard Volumetric mixing.
By way of the truck’s on-board computer system, all ingredients that go into the mix are weighed to produce batching plant quality concrete and screed via a mix on site service.
