lowing countrywide. Organized trips can take participants hundreds or thousands of miles away from home on multiple railroad excursions (think the high bridges of the Ca- mas Prairie in the northwest). Some time is spent time listening to the story of the CEO of the Arkansas & Oklahoma Railway, who owns several cars and on whose tracks mo- tor car trips have taken place. Several guys explain how they acquired and restored their motor cars, and collectors share parts and restoration techniques. Finally we motor down the line riding a speeder or two, looking fore and aft and off at the scenery. Runbys of several speeders are made at various locations. The partici- pants describe how and why they do this, re- call their favorite trips, and talk about how often they ride. At the end, the motor cars are loaded back onto trailers and the partic- ipants move on to the next venue or home. Looks like a lot of fun in sunny weather. This is a very nice, educational diversion from the traditional train runby videos. It explores the excitement, satisfaction, and camaraderie of speeder restorers and enthu- siasts through a large number of personal interviews which are carefully edited for continuity. Footage of motor cars in action comprises less of the program than one might expect, but it is sufficient. The photog- raphy, editing and sound are all first-rate professional work. The running of the vehi- cles was filmed at various locations in Texas, while additional footage was shot in Wilbur- ton, Okla. You’ll learn how these little crit- ters came to be and where they continue to run today. Adults and children of all ages will enjoy this show.— TOM KELCEC
