Visitors can expect to see clean lines, dominant shapes and organic silhouettes, with a bold use of colours. Arche will be presenting a carefully hand-

ext month, Pure London will welcome over 200 trend-led and design-led brands to the Footwear section. Amongst a fine selection of UK and international

exhibitors, buyers can source from must-have labels, directional styles and the latest innovations. Headline sponsors of the Footwear and

Accessory section, Highline United Europe will be bringing a selection of top labels including Julian Hakes, Jean-Michel Cazabat, French Connection Footwear and Elie Tahari. Award-winning architect, Julian Hakes, came up with the idea for his key piece after examining why shoes have to have a one-piece sole when the weight of the body is distributed over the ball of the foot and the heel. Using one chic strip that is cleverly wrapped around the foot, Hakes created a simple, elegant piece with poetic expression and geometric excellence. Named after the strip of curled lime found in the favourite cocktail, the ‘Mojito’ shoe has become a renowned style with its ingenious design and creativity. Elie Tahari will debut his latest collection at the show which has been inspired by the era of dazzling discos. As one of the first fashion designers to open a boutique on Madison Avenue in 1974, the collection is not to be missed.

Australia Luxe Collective will return to the show with their vast range of stylish footwear and accessories. Using luxury materials such as Grade A Australian sheepskin adorned with custom made embellishments, the desirable sheepskin footwear has become a fashion staple of stylish celebrities including Jessica Alba, Gwen Stefani, Kate Hudson, Megan Fox, Sienna Miller, Elle Macpherson and Sarah Jessica Parker. Sneaker brand, Gino-B will be launching within

the footwear section, designed by Metropolitan Luxury Interior Designer Eric Kuster. Each sneaker is inspired by nightlife around the world, with a unique signature diamond stitch which has become a growing favorite among the international fashion scene. Built upon values of style, quality and

affordability, Tosca Blue Shoes will be exhibiting for the first time at Pure London this February. Created by Minoronzoni Srl, the brand is already well-known for their handbag collection and has now produced a footwear line of fashionable, clean and simple pieces to compliment their existing portfolio. Also making their debut at Pure London is Meduse, bringing both a distinctive summer and winter collection. The summer collection, inspired by beach breaks, will include the original vintage jelly sandal styles and a host

crafted collection of footwear which are both on-trend and well-made, with a rich and inviting colour palette for the A/W13 season. Pindière, one of the biggest groups in France, have been creating and producing women’s shoes for over 50 years and will be bringing K by Karston to the show. Other brands not to miss are Lodi, FLY London, Unze London, J Shoes, French Sole and Bruno Premi. Design-led shoe label, Kat Maconie, launched a

little over 3 years ago and is now sold in over 100 leading stores, including a selection of popular department stores. Jessie J, Keira Knightly, and Ellie Goulding are just a few of the loyal celebrity following that continue to favour and support the brand, expanding its presence. The A/W13 collection draws inspiration from straps on leather saddles; buckles with curved bubble-effect and gold metal squares which are strong, clean, understated wardrobe staples. The gold metal work and strong sculptural silhouettes continues to mould Kat Maconie’s ever-growing recognisable identity, with electric pink and metallic blue highlighting a cool ice and black leather colour pallet. New for A/W13 are sheep skin lined biker boots with signature KM detailing.
