console team as communications manager, and AMANDA CUTHBERT comes to the Total War team as free-to-play brand manager. Joining Creative Assembly to assist on its new Alien title, Ramsay will be a key member of the newly formed internal PR and marketing department. “I couldn’t be more excited to join

CCP GAMES Eve Online maker CCP Games has hired OWEN O’BRIEN as executive producer of Eve: Valkyrie, a new VR spaceship dogfighting game
in development at its Newcastle studio. O’Brien will oversee all aspects of Eve: Valkyrie’s production. O’Brien joins CCP following a long
career at the award-winning game studio DICE in Stockholm. While at DICE, O’Brien led production of the critically acclaimed Mirror’s Edge. “I worked with Owen for many years
at DICE,” said Sean Decker, senior vice president of production at CCP. “His experience bringing Mirror’s Edge to market will be invaluable as we work to make virtual reality an actual reality for gamers worldwide.” O’Brien added: “The opportunity to
work with a focused, talented and passionate team at the forefront of
game-changing technology is a dream scenario for me.”
DIGITAL CAPITAL Digital Capital, an investor in digital entertainment apps and games, has appointed JONATHAN BUNNEY as
marketing director. Bunney brings a wealth of senior experience to the firm, having held positions as vice president of product development and product marketing during his 12-year tenure at EA. His role will be to lead the global marketing campaigns for Digital Capital’s growing portfolio of products. Todd Tribell, co-founder of Digital
Capital, said: “Our unique business model includes full marketing support for our projects so we’re very excited that Jonathan will be creating and implementing our marketing campaigns; and we’re most fortunate to have him heading the department.” Bunney added: “I’m delighted to be
