REAL FOUR For the ultimate reel performance look out for:
Real Engine Starts smoothly minimising loss of power transmission and achieves smooth rotation
Real Control Results in less line trouble, longer casting, enhanced performance
Real Endurance Designed to deliver a faultless performance year after year
Real Custom Allows you to personalise your reel to match your fishing style
CRBB The Corrosion Resistant Ball Bearing is a sealed mechanism that contains low viscosity oil. By being sealed it resists salt water and all types of debris, allowing the flow of bearings to remain smooth and unhindered.
AIRBAIL Our unique hollow AirBail is super strong yet light in weight with no protrusions to snag line thanks to the patented design.
QD DRAG QD drag is available on the many of our top reels as standard. The abbreviated drag function allows you to apply a controlled level of ‘Free Spool’ but still engage the drag back to your chosen level with less than one turn.
MAG SEALED The innovative use of magnetised oil has allowed us to achieve a reactive fluid barrier to salt and debris. This brings reels an enhanced performance and improved life expectancy.

ZAOIN
ZAION ZAION is a precision moulded, high density carbon. It is very light weight, incredibly strong and will not corrode. Carbon fibre strands are combined with a sophisticated catalyst and thanks to millions of multi directional fibres, reel bodies and rotors can become ultra light but with the strength to rival metal.
ABS & ABS II Anti Backlash System The reversed taper of ABS controls line release to one rotation at a time and the increased spool diameter delivers a reduction in spool lip friction.
UTD – ULTIMATE TOURNAMENT DRAG UTD uses impregnated discs that are up to 30 more resistant than normal discs. Although the effective braking force is significantly increased the ‘start up’ is remarkably smooth and the reaction to lunges and runs highly responsive.
DIGIGEAR Digitally designed gears ensure a perfect mesh between ultra-tough, surface treated alloy drive gear and marine bronze pinion gear for optimized speed, power and durability.
AIR ROTOR We redesigned ‘the rotor’, reducing its weight by 15%. The distinct shape and curve also delivers enhanced balance of rotation and loading and is a symbol of superior design efficiency.
TWISTBUSTER II Invented by Daiwa and still the genuine article this combination of a configured oversize roller and critical rotor geometry eliminated up to 90% of line twist overnight.
HIP – HIGH IMPACT LINE CLIP Designed for distance control the ‘HIP’ clip features a braid and line friendly, shock absorbing collar behind the clip face.
SUPER METAL This specially developed aluminium alloy delivers a remarkably high level of rigidity and machining precision. This maintains gear and drive shaft alignment when under loading, ensuring continuously smooth operation and significantly reduced wear.
