TEAM DAIWA Z BOAT Our designers recognise that braid is now King when it comes
to conventional down tiding and that when uptiding the role of monofil remains the first choice. This is why the Team Daiwa Z boat range offers two
different design approaches. The boat models on offer start from a sporty 8lb class up to a 30lb model. The action on each rod is also designed to offer an early tip
action but load further into the rod’s length. This delivers that cushion required with the very direct contact achieved when using braid. Each rod has been furnished with a new model of Fuji
boat braid guide and the positions have been chosen to reduce or eliminate blank contact when the rod is bent. The uptide duo uses the same blank profiles and actions as the
previous TDX models. Blended E glass meets the power of carbon to deliver the ultimate balance between tip action and rod power.

These Team Daiwa X boat rods have outstanding tip actions thanks to our patented compound taper. This hidden feature provides a responsive and forgiving performance ensuring a perfect progression to the loading zone. Each rod also features a lowered reel position and Powerlift Duplon foregrip.
Line travel is enhanced thanks to the ideal number and position of Fuji aluminium oxide guides, preventing contact between line and rod whatever the curve.
