BASIA DF CARP Like all serious carp anglers pushing the boundaries is the natural way of

things. In the same sense then our rod design engineers are no different. For over a decade the Magnum Taper profile has remained untouched by any

other carp rod design. The balance, tip speed and versatility, even in the high test curves remain unsurpassed. However the benchmark of best is not high enough for our team and when

combined by the desire and drive of Danny Fairbrass a breakthough was never far away. By combining a core of high modulus low resin fibre armoured with

outer layers of X45 carbon we have been able to reduce the diameter of the MT performance. Importantly this harmony of materials harnesses more potential energy that when released applies more power to the cast. The added benefit of the X45 is a higher torque resistance contributing to better straight line accuracy and a crisper recovery. Furnished to the same ‘Custom’ standard as other DF’s each model feature 50mm butt guides, a profiled NS grip handle and a silk low glare matt finish.
