Cruise the Rhine With MOAA
Join MOAA President Vice Adm. Norbert R. Ryan Jr., USN (Ret), and his wife, Judy, on a MOAA signature cruise on the Rhine River in Europe. MOAA members will have the ship to themselves on an Avalon Waterways Rhine River Cruise from Amsterdam, Netherlands (below right), to Basel, Switzerland.

The Rhine is lined with historic structures and culture-rich cities. Cruisers will pass the most visited landmark in Germany — Cologne Cathedral (above right) — learn firsthand about Heidelberg Castle (top) and its seeming affinity for lightning storms, and sight the Lorelei rock near Koblenz. Day excursions mean cruisers can sample traditional Alsatian flammekueche, a thin pizza-like flatbread with creme fraiche and lardoons, and fine German wines, too.

This opportunity is available for over $800 off the retail price per cabin. For more information, visit www.moaatravel.org.

TOPS Gets Video Tech
MOAA is partnering with InterviewStream to provide members video interview technology through the TOPS career-transition service that helps members shift from military to civilian careers.

The partnership will enable MOAA to add video interviews to its full suite of career-transition services, which include assistance with personal assessment, résumé development, self-marketing, pay and benefits negotiation, and job and résumé bank access.

“In today’s ultra-competitive job market, it’s important to arrive for every interview fully prepared to connect your strengths with an employer’s requirements,” says Capt. Jim Carman, USN (Ret), director of the TOPS program. “InterviewStream’s technology maximizes the likelihood of effectively connecting with your interviewers and elevating your performance.”
