the USBC Hall of Fame Committee announced. Steelsmith and Postma
were joined by Shirley Levens and the late Frank Santore in the Outstanding USBC Performance category, while two-time Open Championships titlist Don McCune was elected in the Veterans category and longtime USBC Board member Tamoria Adams was recognized for Meritorious Service. titles by adding the Senior Queens crown in 2004. Postma became the only three-time Senior Queens champ by adding titles in 2006 and ’08. A dominant
player at the state level, with 14 Florida state titles and 16 Florida Queens titles, Levens, of Titusville, Fla., has
national champion and four-time All-American at Wichita State, won the USBC Masters in 1987 and added Regular All-Events and Team All-Events titles at the Open Championships a year later. After winning the USBC Queens title in 1995, Postma, of Lansing, Ill., became the first bowler to win both Queens
three Women’s Championship titles and a pair of Seniors Queens crowns (2002 and 2005). New York City and New York State

Hall of Famer Santore earned a trio of eagles at the Open Championships. He won the Regular All-Events titles in 1950 and both the Regular Singles and Regular All-Events in ’53.
Association Tour Player of the Year McCune, of Las Vegas, earned a pair of Open Championship titles, winning Classic Team in 1968 and Classic Doubles in 1969. McCune went on to collect eight Tour titles, including six in 1973, when he was also named Player of the Year. Adams, of Charlotte, N.C., has served the USBC in numerous leadership and delegate roles over four decades, including being a member of the original USBC
Board of Directors in 2005. The six newest members of the USBC Hall of Fame will be inducted May 3 during the 2013 USBC Convention in Reno, Nev. They will be joined by inductees selected from the national Superior Performance

ballots. The men’s ballot includes Steve Cook, Jason Couch, David Ozio, Danny Wiseman, Doug Kent and Larry Laub. Lynda Barnes is the only name on the women’s ballot.
