NUT General Secretary Christine Blower was one of several union leaders who spoke to a large audience in Hyde Park, telling marchers: “We are marching in solidarity with workers everywhere who are facing austerity cuts. We need to keep campaigning until we win!” She urged the crowd to support the European day of action against cuts on 14 November.
