DocuSign Raises $56M To Accelerate eSignature Growth

DocuSign have recently raised $56m in a funding round, with
investors including Kleiner Perkins and Accel Partners. Can you discuss the funding?
DocuSign raised a total of $56 million in the company’s Series D round of funding from premier investors, a public fund, and strategic tech partners. The funding was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, who was joined by
Accel Partners, a large, global institutional investor, Google Ventures, Comcast Ventures and SAP Ventures.
Were there any challenges that needed to be overcome?
Our most recent funding positions us to scale our business and continue our hyper growth as the global standard for eSignature. DocuSign has more than 23 million users who
have DocuSigned more than 220 million documents in 188 countries. 60,000 new unique users join the DocuSign Global Network every day.
