AFS & MODERN CASTING Host Social Media Contest

Foundry Soci- ety (AFS) and MODERN CAST- ING Magazine launched social media campaigns on Sept. 20, open to all AFS follow- ers on Facebook and Twitter. On Facebook:


Post a picture of you with your MODERN CAST- ING Magazine. Show us the print copy or the Metal- casting Newsstand App on your Apple or Android device and let us see the MODERN CASTING logo. Take your magazine wherever you go—be creative! Mul- tiple entries will be accepted and placed into a photo album for Facebook followers to “like.” Te picture with the most likes will be announced and the winner will receive an AFS logo prize. Voting begins on Nov. 2 and will continue through the end of the month. On Twitter: Retweet any @AmerFoundrySoc tweet with the hashtag #AFSLovesCastings. All re-tweet entries will be placed into a drawing for an AFS logo prize. Every re-tweet increases your chances to win.

WFO Technical Forum to Be Held During CastExpo 2013

nical Forum will be held during the American Foundry Society’s (AFS) CastExpo 2013, April 7-9 in St. Louis, Mo. Te WFO Technical Forum occurs every other year


in alternating locations around the world. Te Techni- cal Forum is held in addition to the organization’s World Foundry Congress, also held bi-annually in the years the Technical Forum is not.
