Jospice Golden Jubilee Ball

he Jospice Golden Jubilee Ball was a glittering affair, attended by 260 guests. Te evening included entertainment by top UK artists,
comedians Tom O’Connor and the Bootleg Beatles. Many local people and Liverpool companies and business were treated to a fine evening of wining and dining at Formby Hall resort and spa. Tey also dug deep for a raffle for an 18ct Ballon Bleu Cartier watch that was raffled, and bid for auction items such as naming an Eddie Stobart lorry, membership at the golf club and a trip on a private jet. Te evening raised £30,000 towards the
work of Jospice, and Pat Murphy Director of Fundraising said, “We are delighted that the evening was so successful. We would like to thank all the guests for being so generous, and also Formby Hall staff for the excellent service they gave us in helping to arrange the evening.” Te glittering affair is just one of a number
of ‘special events’ which Jospice is holding to highlight the special Golden Jubilee year. Later this year they will be holding a concert at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral performed by the Priests.
