The Country Inn & Suites in State Col- lege, Pa., was designed by Ponder and Ponder Architects, Norcross, Ga., after the fi rm received a prototype design. The hotel’s corporate look stems from 903 square feet of 0.032-inch Dutch Seam (MRD150) aluminum standing seam roof panels in Rock Grey from ATAS International Inc., Allentown, Pa. In addition to meeting corporate considerations, the design team chose a local manufacturer for sustainability and cost containment. Harchuck Construction, Apollo, Pa., was the general con- tractor; ABC Supply Co., Harrisburg, Pa., was the roofi ng distributor; and UDC Design, State College, installed the roofi ng panels.
