DeaDMaU5 Feat. CHrIS JaMeS‘THE VELDT’MAU5TRAP
THE summer is on its way. How do we know? Well, from the Gregorian calender for one, but also because — with one eye on their outdoor festival gigs and the mass crowds that these bring — DJs and producers are starting to unveil their hands- in-the-air, sing-a-long vocal hits of the season. Recently premiered by Pete Tong on his show in
the UK, Deadmau5 lays out his cards with ‘The Veldt’ featuring the vocals of Chris James. While the instrumental was made during a uStream with fans, it’s James’ vocals which give it that sunny sheen. And the release date? June, of course.
JUS-ED
A resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut, DJ and producer Jus-Ed has been credited as the main force behind the renaissance of New York house, running numerous parties, hosting his radio show on myhouseyourhouse. net and helping to launch the careers of the likes of Levon Vincent, locally, and from afar Nina Kraviz via his Underground Quality label, which has come to
rep just that. The opposite end of the EDM spectrum to the current dubstep craze, he recorded us this deep, undulating vinyl-only house mix to promote his forthcoming trip to London, England, to visit iconic club Fabric, even getting on the mic to hype us as much as we hope it will you.
