professional events taking an additional $1,000 in prize money. Organiser Eric Stein pointed out to the audience that prize money at the Metro was now among the best, if not the best, in world piping. The whole event was very professionally run and a credit to Mr Stein and the Metro Branch of the EUSPBA and, more generally, to piping in the north-eastern US.
