Founded in 1935, Monarch Industries is a privately owned Canadian company head- quartered in Winnipeg, Canada. Monarch is a full service supplier of gray and ductile iron castings and offers a full range of value added operations, including machining, paint- ing, pattern-making, casting design and sub- assembly work.

tern shop and tool room and proceeding through computerized solidification simula- tion, everything possible is done to ensure that we produce accurate, high quality raw and machined castings. Green Sand molds are made on B&P 16x20 and 20x26 molding machines with automatic weight and jacket shifters while nobake cope and drag molds are made on our 46”x72” mold- ing line with in-line flow coating capability, allowing us to provide iron castings ranging in size from 1 to 1,800 pounds.


Our full metal laboratory is equipped to monitor and test physical, chemical and metallographic properties of all metal poured. Coupled with our automatic sand controls, our comprehensive sand lab ac- curately and consistently tests and maintains sand conditions.


After shot-blasting, parts are cleaned to detailed and part specific instructions either manually or on our Maus or Barinder CNC


grinders using diamond-plated grinding wheels for fast, accurate and consistent cleaning of parts.


All in-house machining is done on mod-


ern, CNC controlled machining centers and lathes, to the highest industry standards and tolerances. Monarch has three centrally located facilities in North America: our corporate office and machining operations in Win- nipeg, our foundry in Winkler and our distribution center in Kansas City. We also work with certified machining, heat-treating and painting contractors to ensure that we are equipped to service the specific needs of each customer.
