TIME WARP FESTIVAL, MANNHEIM, GERMANY Time Warp Mannheim A total feast of techno on 31st March


IF 2 Unlimited stand by their mantra of “techno, techno, techno”, then you can probably catch them in the crowd (but defi nitely not on the stage) of Time Warp Mannheim on Saturday 31st March. Having chalked up well over a decade in its current location of Maimarkthalle, a colossal venue fi tted out with more lights, lasers and video screens than the entire chain of Currys, Time Warp’s line-up is similarly sprawlingly large. Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox and Ricardo Villalobos are all headliners in their own right, as are the likes of Chris Liebing, Kevin Saunderson and John Digweed.


That’s not even the half of it, either, with a rarer outing from towering Chicago headcase DJ Rush, Eric Estornel dropping his Maceo Plex guise in favour of the armour-plated Maetrik (playing live) and psychedelic soldiers Visionquest coming out in full-force.
