FIRST NIGHT Riders is an annual motorcycle charity event dedicated to raising funds for The Theatrical Guild (TTG), the only UK charity that looks after the interests of backstage and front of house personnel. “2012 marks the third First Night Riders event and we’re hoping to make it the most successful and fun ride yet,” said organiser David Edelstein, managing director of stage engineering company Triple E. “It’s important that we value the

help charities like The Theatrical Guild provide. TTG is the only charity in the UK available to anyone who works, or has worked, in theatre – backstage or front of house. TTG is there for anyone from this industry who is facing financial difficulty or who wants to retrain to develop their career.”

The 2012 ride is a four-day

event and open to anyone with a suitable motorcycle, bike and side-car, or scooter.
