CONVENTION CENTER HIGHLIGHTS The Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and 12 hotels with a total of 4,700 hotel rooms— all of which are connected via climate-controlledskywalks— make up their own “convention city” in downtown Indianapolis. These facilities are adjacent to a new, three-block outdoor plaza, Georgia Street, with plenty of spe- cial-event space options.

aren’t the only new experiences in Indianapolis. The Indianapolis International Airport, which opened in 2008, is ranked No. 1 in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power and Associates, and offers 150 daily departures to 35 nonstop destinations. Also, more than 50 percent of the country’s population is less than a day’s drive from Indianapolis.

Combined, the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium provide 749,000 square feet of exhibit space, 83 meeting rooms, and three ballroom spaces, includ- ing the 33,000-square-foot Sag- amore ballroom, which can accom- modate up to 3,400 guests in a theater-style setting.

The Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium are within walking distance of more than 200 restaurants and50 attractions, including Union Station, Circle Cen- tre shopping andentertainment complex, Victory Field, and the 250- acreWhite River State Park, a mix of greenspace andcultural attractions surrounding the Central Canal.
