Gig Racing Visit Newquay Harbour and make sure you see Newquay’s Pilot Gigs - 32’ long wooden boats with six rowers cutting through the water on their regular Friday night practice or on weekend competitions. Visitors are welcome and you can discover why Gigs have a special place in Newquay’s heart.
