FEATURING A UNIQUE
OPPORTUNITY TO MEET KEN BURNS
The Tauck Civil War Event
A one-of-a-kind experience crafted by filmmaker Ken Burns and Tauck, The Tauck Civil War Event brings a maximum of 300 guests together in the historic epicenter of the conflict, Washington, DC, on two departures only – five days of themed sightseeing and exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime gala experiences, May 20 – 24 and Oct. 14 – 18, 2012, including a keynote address by and a personal visit with Ken Burns on May 22 & Oct. 16.
By day, small groups averaging 32 guests visit sites handpicked by Ken Burns to tell the story of the conflict, experiencing sightseeing tracks on different days. All come together for three gala evening events hosted by the Tauck family, with private, insider access to three key Washington museums: the National Building Museum; the National Archives, site of the keynote address by Ken Burns; and the National Portrait Gallery.
