selection of new international signings, ones- to-watch and returning household names at the UK’s largest and busiest footwear show, which takes place from 19-21 February at the NEC Birmingham. With an unrivalled selection of women’s, men’s and children’s labels to choose from, the show will provide buyers with a great opportunity to seek out the high quality footwear available from six carefully edited product zones.
T Must-see international labels join Moda Footwear Gathering under one convenient location for
the first time this season will be the likes of Duck & Cover, Crew Clothing, Peter Kaiser, Mustang, Ukala, Eneka, Benson Shoes, Maon, MTNG as well as favourites including Bamboo A, Loake, Barkers, Lisa Kay, Ipanema, Geox, Agatha Luiz De La Prada, Robeez plus many more. After a successful debut last season, the urban
footwear and menswear zone Select, will see brand new additions including British trendsetters Duck & Cover. Adding footwear to its clothing offering, the collection promises designs that take in the style and functionality needs of the urban male. Newcomers Crew Clothing will also add footwear to its repertoire with a well crafted range with references to its coastal roots. Select will once again host the footwear collections from iconic US denim brand Wrangler as well as Drunknmunky and Superga. New arrivals Peter Kaiser, known for its revered
reputation for premium quality and fit in its native Germany will be in attendance with a new collection of formal and casual styles combining the current trends with comfort. Denim makers Mustang also add to the line-up
of newcomers and strong German presence alongside peers that include Tamaris, Rieker and Josef Seibel. Other lifestyle and contemporary brands to be seen once again at Moda include US brands Skechers, Rocket Dog and Hush Puppies.
Impressive European craftsmanship will also be
seen from new Spanish signing Eneka, producers of soft, lightweight shoes with excellent finishes and fellow Spaniards and Moda regulars Neosens, El Naturalista and Menbur will also offer on-trend styles for the new season. Young and directional brands will also make a
significant mark on the show as Ukala, stocked by retailers globally; join Moda for the first time with a sheepskin footwear collection made with Australian Merino wool and natural suede to ensure must-have fashion pieces. Fly London, Rockport and London Rebel return once again as well as non-conformist brands Iron Fist, United Nude and Rocket Dog. With a great range of children’s footwear to
choose from, retailers will be able to provide customers with designs from new arrivals Maon and well-loved labels such as technology savvy brands Bobux and Ricosta alongside colourful collections from Lelli Kelly, Keds, Dinosoles, Primigi, Chipmunks, Garvalin and more. February will also see the launch of a footwear specific seminar as part of the free of charge retail-oriented seminar programme. Karl McKeever, founder of Visual Thinking will deliver a seminar entitled ‘Outstanding Footwear Displays: How to achieve profitable results’ on Tuesday 21 February. McKeever will share his expertise on how to maximise footwear presentation in store to deliver sales success. Visitors will learn about the latest retail and visual merchandising concepts, techniques and methods used to deliver dynamic footwear window and interior displays in this essential retail and visual merchandising update. Moda will host the autumn/winter 12 collections
from 19-21 February at the NEC Birmingham. The UK’s national fashion trade event will also feature daily fashion, lingerie & swimwear and brand new eveningwear catwalk shows and a free to all visitors seminar programme.
