WE’RE eagerly awaiting Nina Kraviz’s debut album which is released by Radio Slave’s Rekids in February 2012. A singer, producer and DJ from Siberia (now living in Moscow), she might have striking looks, but it’s her blistering sets and idiosyncratic production style that have seen her rising through the house and techno ranks. Latest single ‘Ghetto Kraviz’ stamps this mark on the bouncy 808 hyphy sound, building on past releases for Underground Quality, Cocoon and BPitch, and

gives a glimpse into Nina’s self-penned arsenal which includes tracks like ‘I’m Week’ and ‘Pain In The Ass’ and has seen her grace the decks of clubs from Panorama Bar to Fabric and Space. There’s no doubting her taste either when it comes to this week’s chart. From deep house supremo DJ Jus-Ed and Ukrainian Vakula to Detroit techno pioneers Robert Hood and Jeff Mills, it seems that deep or hard, there’s no crowd that Nina won’t rock.
