ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently seeking an experienced Traincrew Manager to lead operations at LOROL across the East London Line. The successful applicants will have the ability and desire to transform train services.


Candidates will be driver competent and have a comprehensive knowledge of railway operational standards, procedures, rules, regulations and railway group standards required along with the desire to set new standards of operational performance and customer service.


Applicants must have experience of managing drivers and be a real time operator – able to think on their feet and react quickly. Proven leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


• The application of safety standards and leadership of safety management systems • The significant improvement of punctuality and reliability; • The efficient delivery of traincrew requirements


• The requirement to recruit and train new drivers for the expanding service commitments and ensure there are sufficient resources to deliver the train plan


• The development and implementation of strategies to achieve improved traincrew productivity


• Train service delivery and a clear understanding of performance regimes


SALARY AND BENEFITS Basic salary of 55-56k We offer generous travel benefits and a final salary pension scheme.
