Working closely with one of its key customers, Fairchild Semiconductor, has developed a number of voltage comparator products designed to support supply chain flexibility by enabling different audio jacks to be used in the same device. Engineers utilised existing core design IP
for comparator technology to rapidly develop devices tomeet specific customer demands. By providing both single and dual low voltage comparators, the customer can use one or the other – or both – depending on the application. In addition, it simplified their supply chainmanagement having both solutions available fromone source.
The FAN156 and FAN256 are ideal for
applications including mobile phones, alarm and security systems, personal digital assistants, computers and portable medical devices.
Fairchild also aims to provide proactive,
open and transparent supply chain management, allowing customers tomeet inventory andmanufacturing requirements.
