Natasha Glasgow to the role of senior manager for commercial and propositions.
Prior to joining Junction, she spent three and a half years working for the Frontline division of the BGL Group. She was initially appointed as marketing manager for motor insurance, before progressing to senior manager with responsibility for home insurance across the in-house brands.

QuestGates appoints three new members to its counter fraud division. Lisa Docherty has ten years’ fraud investigation
experience, has previously worked at Lewis Group and Crawfords, and will cover Scotland and the North. Brendan Gillooly has worked in the fraud arena for over ten years with previous roles at Aviva, Merlin and Crawfords, and will cover the North West area. Isobel Garrett has
worked in insurance since 1999 with roles at
Cunningham Lindsey and Crawfords, and will cover the Birmingham area.

Travelers Travelers appoints David Sawyer as assistant general manager of their professional indemnity portfolio. Joining from QBE where he was portfolio manager, he has 18 years’ experience, with roles at Kemper Europe and SVB syndicates.

Allianz Engineering appoints Nigel Williams as regional underwriter for the Midlands area. With 31 years’ underwriting and business development experience, he was previously business developer for the Essex and Hertfordshire area. He has held posts at Commercial Union, AON, and Colonia Baltica.

Independent broker Clear Insurance
Management appoint Simon Taylor as executive director subject to FSA approval. He brings considerable industry experience which has included a variety of senior roles held at Norwich Union, NIG & Primary. Most recently Simon was regional managing director for the Willis Network.
Aviva Aviva appoints Marc Chapman as head of personal lines underwriting. He joins from KPMG’s non- life actuarial team. David Hockey is appointed head of underwriting strategy and vision. He joins Aviva through its graduate scheme.
Chris Hill is appointed head of commercial lines underwriting. He has worked at Aviva for 28 years and was most recently head of underwriting for portfolio deals.
Scott Nunn is appointed head of creditor and personal speciality. He has worked at Aviva for 25 years and is an Associate of both the CII and CIM.
Debbie Hewitt
BGL Group BGL Group appoint Debbie Hewitt as non- executive director.
She was with the RAC for more than 20 years most recently as CEO – between 2006 and 2009 – with responsibility for all commercial activities. In addition, Debbie oversaw RAC’s French and Irish businesses as well as its pan-European activity. She holds a number of non- executive roles.
Chaucer James Strachan
Towergate Towergate Insurance appoint James Strachan to its board as an independent non-executive director, and chairman of the Group Risk and Compliance Committee. He has held a wide range of senior positions including chairman of the Audit Commission, member of the Court of Directors of the Bank of England, and non-executive director of Legal and General.
Chaucer appoints Simon Ball as international property treaty underwriter within Syndicate 1084’s property division. With 20 years’ underwriting experience, he was previously vice president for international non-marine property treaty at Endurance Specialty Insurance in Bermuda.
CFC CFC Underwriting
appoints Graeme Newman as marketing director. He joined in 2008 after selling the DRS Insurance Services book to Oxygen.
Prior to this, he spent five years at Deloitte Consulting in IT project and risk management.
