FOLLOWING sell-out NYE shows in The States and Australia for the past two consecutive years, Dutch trance idol Ferry Corsten is coming to ring in 2012 for London – one of his “favourite cities in the world,” he declares in the video above – with his special breed of synthesised melodies, technoid thumping and ecstatic hands-in-the-air breakdowns at O2 Academy, Brixton.


Dubbed by Ferry as his “biggest ever UK show to date”, this New Year’s Eve knees-up promises to etch another benchmark into the widely acclaimed Full On Ferry series,


responsible for taking Sankeys Manchester and Ibiza by storm throughout the summer. Kicking off at 9pm and winding down around 6am amid a hail of cosmic fl ares, space-age visuals and fountainous plumes of dry ice, one of trance’s best-loved modern-day stalwarts will be joined by an entourage of close-knit DJs and producers (still to be announced) to ensure that the midnight fi reworks, deafening chimes and muffl ed rounds of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ are well and truly drowned out by epic crystalline riffs, ear-fi zzing frequencies and face-pummelling beats.
