Often compared unfairly to its faster and racier neighbour, America, and unfortunately written off as just ‘a few acres of snow’ by writer Voltaire, Canada seems to have been somewhat sidelined.

B

ut with awe-inspiring scenery, breathtaking natural wonders and edgy cosmopolitan cities, it’s not a country to be ignored. At

an incredible 10 million sq km, most people are unaware that Canada is the second largest country in the world.

What is well known however, is the abundance of the country’s natural wilderness and wildlife. Think of Canada and one can’t help but think of polar bears. But it’s not just polar bears that nature lovers will delight in seeing – magnificent as they are – there are grizzly and Kermode bears, belugas, orcas, moose and humpback whales to name a few.

No Canadian adventure would be complete without a trip to the stunning Rocky Mountains or a moment to take in the thunderous roaring of Niagara Falls. There are many sides to this intriguing country and Entrée Canada & Alaska offer endless possibilities.

Canadian experiences include walks around glacial lakes, dog-sledding along the Continental Divide or drives on the Columbia Icefields Parkway. A polar bear photo shoot safari along the Hudson Bay is guaranteed to thrill. For a more laid-back experience, re-discover the romance of train travel while exploring some of the country’s most spectacular scenery and cultural gems. Enjoy the ‘real Alaska’ by exploring the pristine backcountry and indulging in a true Alaskan adventure of fly-fishing, kayaking among glaciers in kenai Fjords National Park and viewing the magnificent Mt McKinley from both land and air.

A truly once in a lifetime experience.
