Watts launches residential fire protection product line
noRTH AndoVER, MASS.— Watts has launched its resi-
dential fire protection line, a selection of products designed for home sprinkler systems. This line brings the Watts tech-
cost by using a fitting connection that installers already know — the popular CrimpRing® fitting — which has long been one of the fastest and safest methods in the industry for permanently installing PEX plumbing. The product line includes: Watts RF PEX™ Tubing,
Watts Lead Free RF PEX™ Fittings and Watts Lead Free RF PEX™ Sprinkler Fittings. Watts RF PEX Sprinkler Fittings are designed to accept all standard ½″ residential sprinkler heads and will work with a variety of sprinkler head brands. As a convenience, Watts offers a variety of Viking Residential Sprinkler Heads — including both pen- dent and decorative concealed styles — in both lead-free and standard materials.

RECEnTLy inTRoduCEd dahl-ECo valves incorporate a new, ultra durable patented alloy called EcoBrass®. This alloy makes the valves the most cor- rosion-resistant on the market, exceeding all toxicity and performance standards. The EcoBrass alloy
ensures that the new valves exceed lead-free requirements based on California AB1953 and Vermont S-152 legislation, and surpass any low lead standards worldwide. Also, dahl-ECo mini-ball valves surpass all corrosion resistance standards and they exceed the toughest performance standards including those set by CSA B125.1, ASME A112.18.1 and iAPMo.
