NATALIE HAGGLUND (Libero, Encinitas, Calif.) Natalie paced the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team to a fourth-place fi nish at the 2011 FIVB Women’s Junior World Champion- ship, which matched the team’s best-ever fi nish in the event. She was named Best Libero at the conclusion of the tournament after posting a 57.0 success percent on 365 total attempts. Natalie added 4.90 digs per set for the second-highest among all players in the tournament. She also led USA A2 Red to the silver medal in the 2011 USA Volleyball Open National Championships Open Division and was named all-tournament. Natalie is in her second season with the University of Southern California after earning Pac-10 All- Freshman First-Team in 2010.
TAYLOR SANDER (Outside Hitter, Huntington Beach, Calif.) Taylor helped the U.S. Men’s Junior National Team to a fourth-place fi nish at the 2011 FIVB Men’s Junior World Championship, the best placement the U.S. has ever had in the event. He scored 160 points on 131 kills, 17 blocks and 12 aces to ranked second overall in scoring among all players competing in the FIVB Men’s Junior World Championship. Taylor competed for Brigham Young University during the 2010-2011 season after playing for Orange Coast Volleyball Club.
AARON RUSSELL (Middle Blocker, Ellicott, Md.) Aaron led the U.S. Boys’ Youth National Team to an 11th-place fi nish at the 2011 FIVB Men’s Junior World Championship. He averaged 2.97 points, 2.23 kills, 0.51 blocks and 0.23 aces per set from his middle blocker position. Aaron held a .384 hitting effi ciency for the tournament. He scored a personal-best 22 points ver- sus Egypt. Earlier this year, Aaron helped the U.S. Boys’ Youth National Team to the bronze medal at the Under-19 NORCECA Pan American Cup as he scored a team- high 45 points. He is a freshman at Penn State University after playing club vol-
leyball for MVP in Rockville, Md.
LAUREN CARLINI (Setter, Aurora, Ill.) Lauren sparked the U.S. Girls’ Youth National Team to a ninth-place fi nish at the 2011 FIVB Girls’ Youth World Cham- pionship. Lauren concluded the World Championship with 10.54 assists, 3.09 digs, 0.77 blocks and 0.41 aces per set for an all-around performance from her setter position. Lauren led the U.S. Girls’ Youth National Team to the Women’s Junior International Division gold medal at the 2011 USA Volleyball High Performance Championship in July. She was named the tournament’s most valuable player. Lauren, who is a junior at West Aurora High School, has verbally committed to play for Univer- sity of Wisconsin.
