COMIN’ UP RIP DJ MEHDI

DJ MEHDI has tragically died in an accident in Paris at the age of 34. DJmag understands that he was on the roof of his home in Paris when the roof collapsed. A number of others are reported to have been injured in the accident. Mehdi, born Mehdi Favéris-Essadi, was one of the first to twist hip-hop into new electro shapes, making a couple of albums for Ed banger in the noughties and producing a number of notable tunes and remixes. Tweets have been flooding in from across the DJ world on Twitter. Our deepest sympathies go out to his friends and family.
