recision gear and gearbox manufacturer Ondrives Ltd has recently extended its advanced manufacturing facility to include a purpose built climate controlled area, among other improved resources. This dedicated section is designed to allow all company precision gear assemblies and gear inspection to take place in a pristine, stable environment. The newly extended facility also houses Ondrives’ most recent high- quality machine tool acquisition - a Studer S21 Grinding Machine. Ondrives can undertake all types of grinding work as well as other types of CNC milling and manufacturing such as those required by demanding industries like the aerospace, precision mechanics and the hydraulic/pneumatic sectors. Their range of in-house
manufactured precision and commercial gears are amongst their most popular ranges of products and Ondrives welcome the opportunity to quote for customer’s specialist gear requirements and assure them of the utmost attention to detail in every respect from the quote stage right through to production and inspection. l
