P18: Your Union

Officer and Executive elections 2012-14

Ballot papers will be sent out at the end of October for you to elect new NUT officers – the senior and junior vice presidents, treasurer and examiners of accounts. The closing date for nominations is 30 September 2011.

In spring 2012, Executive members – including constituency seats for black members, disabled members, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members – will be elected.

We want you to be involved: to vote and to stand for election, if you are eligible. If you want to stand for election, contact your association secretary. To vote, ensure we have your up-to-date contact details. If you identify as black, disabled, lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender and wish to vote in the constituency seat elections, you must register as such with the Union. The information is held under our data protection policy.

You can amend your records online at www.teachers.org.uk/update or call 0845 300 1666 or 020 7380 6366 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
