Equality conferences

LGBT teachers 

This year’s conference takes place on Saturday 12 November at NUT HQ. It will allow lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender teachers to meet to discuss issues of particular concern. Retired teachers

The retired teachers’ convention is on Tuesday 11 October 2011 at NUT HQ from 10.30am to 3.30pm. For more information visit www.teachers.org.uk/retiredteachers.

Black teachers

This year’s conference takes place from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 November at Stoke Rochford Hall. NUT black members address issues of race equality, education and the workplace. Delegates hear a variety of speakers, attend workshops, network with other black members, and debate and send a motion to the NUT’s annual conference.
