LUSH AND TROPICAL

This is where the Caribbean comes into its own with beautiful scenery that makes the perfect backdrop to any wedding ceremony. Saint Lucia has long been the Caribbean’s most popular island for romantics with its lush, mountainous terrain providing a stunning backdrop to any wedding with its waterfalls and iconic twin Pitons. Couples can marry in botanical gardens here, or in one of the many others across the Caribbean including Nassau and St. Vincent. In Barbados

tie the knot amidst thousands of beautiful exotic blooms at Orchid World, or in the heart of Guyana’s rainforest at Shanklands Resort.

WEDDINGS AND WATER Couples can choose all sorts of aquatic ceremonies from yachts to party-boats; marrying under the waves in the Atlantis submarine in Barbados, Aruba or Grand Cayman or while diving in the Cayman Islands, where they can swim up a watery aisle marked with conch shells to an old anchor that serves as the altar. One of the most novel ceremonies has to be among tame dolphins in the Bahamas, while on Jamaica couples can tie the knot on a long bamboo river raft.
