GUEST SPEAKER Carol Marlow


Carol Marlow, Managing Director of P&O Cruises, was the guest speaker at the March Odyssey Supper. Having worked in the travel industry for over 20 years, Carol is a dedicated and successful businesswoman.


Carol gave a very insightful speech which covered the state of the UK market, the history of cruising as well as her personal journey which began at Thomson. Carol has played an active role within the Passenger Shipping Association (PSA), as Chairman and is now a Director on the Council of Management.


In a difficult period for the travel industry, cruising has continued to prosper and expand with over 1.5 million UK cruising holidays per year. P&O Cruises launched the latest addition to their fleet – Adonia – in May 2011.
