Double hire for Gem Creative
Maclean and Cinque join UK distributor’s design agency ● IGN names new head of entertainment ●Data protection service appoints UK and Ireland country manager
GEM l FINN MACLEAN AND JULIAN CINQUE have joined Gem Creative. Maclean (far left) takes on the role of graphic
designer, leaving his most recent position at Prontaprint. He will work on projects such as Gem’s in-house publication The Future, as well as vendor advertising and corporate materials.
Meanwhile, Cinque (above on right) joins as marketing assistant. He recently studied at Leeds Metropolitan University.

IGN l CHRIS SHEPPERSON has joined the IGN Entertainment team as its new head of entertainment. He leaves his role as sales director at Reader’s Digest, before which he spent more than a decade at Bauer Media. Shepperson will report to commercial director ADAM HOPKINSON and will be responsible for building IGN’s
revenue and encouraging innovation across the firm’s core entertainment sectors, including video games and film.
“I’m delighted that Chris is taking this essential position in our newly expanded commercial team, as we position our brands for continued UK growth,” said Hopkinson. “With over a decade of experience at the highest level, Chris will take an important role in building our reputation for creative and engaging campaigns that deliver fantastic results.”
I365 l The data protection service has hired ANDY BREWERTONas its country manager for the UK and Ireland. He will be responsible for all UK operations and channel sales in the region, and will work closely with i365’s marketing team. “Andy represents the right person at the right time for
i365,” said EMEA MD JOHAN PELLICAAN. “We needed the right person to fine-tune and manage our programmes for the UK and Irish markets. Andy’s background was a perfect fit to achieve this and other, longer term goals. We are very excited to have him join the European management team.”
HITARI l Independent online retailer Hitari Trade has hired ZARA QURESHI as a customer service advisor. She previously worked at Service Care UK. Site owner KAMAL HITARI said: “Her excellent performance, professional attitude and fresh ideas she brought into the team have truly exceeded my expectation and made her a real asset to the team at Hitari Trade.
