Society Islands & Tuamotus 10 nights

It is hard to decide which is more beautiful: the world beneath the waves, where gracefully swaying coral hosts a fascinating array of marine life … or the spectacular islands rising majestically above the turquoise waters. On this 10-night itinerary, you’ll experience the best of both worlds, as you explore two very different island groups.

Begin in the Society Islands, where you’ll cast off from Tahiti and sail to Huahine, known as “The Garden Island” for its dense rain forests and dramatic terrain. And continue on to Bora Bora, where you’ll enjoy two full days to explore its crystal-clear lagoon—perhaps from our own private beach, offering stunning views of Mount Otemanu.

From here, it’s on to the Tuamotus, whose waters lure divers from all over the world. Take a dive around Fakarava, and you may encounter groupers, barracuda, rays, or even hammerhead and tiger sharks! And in Rangiroa, the extraordinary visibility of the lagoon reveals a multitude of tropical fish, manta rays, and dolphins.

Return to the Society Islands for a full-day idyll on our own private paradise, Motu Mahana. And finally, call on Moorea, whose craggy peaks, swaying palms, and crystalline waters are the very picture of an island paradise.

All too soon, The Gauguin arrives at her home port, the Tahitian capital, Papeete. The voyage has come to an end … but the memories will linger forever.
