AGRICULTURE PowerLease
fi nance option helps with planning
“That’s why we decided on the PowerLeasesm
option
offered by Bobcat when we were looking for a new skid-steer loader,” says Bruce Schneider, who owns Schneider Farms with his brother, Mark, and nephew, Brent. “Knowing what our S650 is going to cost us for the next three years is very reassuring.”
The Schneider farm — located near Venedy, Ill. — has been in the family since 1838. Bruce and Mark took it over from their father in 1976. Now with Mark’s son Brent joining the operation, an ambitious expansion plan is underway. The milking herd of 220 Holsteins is growing to 300 and new barns are being built.
“Planning on how our dollars are going to be spent has never been more important,” Bruce says.
The Schneiders, who occasionally reviewed Bobcat®
loaders in the past,
took a much more serious look last year when they heard about the new M-Series machines. Both the loader and the lease program from Bobcat of St. Louis looked good.
The S650 is engineered to effi ciently complete tough jobs, with exceptional operator visibility, tight turning radius and powerful lifting and pushing performance.
“The skid-steer loader is the second-most important equipment on the farm after the milking machine,” Bruce says. “We use it to scrape lots, load manure and feed, move bales and much more. Plenty of work has been added with the construction of our new barns.”

Dairy producers know the total cost of their new Bobcat skid-steer loader for three years
In an industry full of economic uncertainty — from milk prices to feed costs — dairy producers know that any expenses that can be locked in for a specifi c period of time can be very benefi cial.
In addition to the features of the new M-Series loader, the Schneiders were sold on the Bobcat PowerLease program.
PowerLease program
The PowerLease program is a simple, affordable alternative to traditional fi nancing with fl exible options to purchase, trade up or return the equipment to the dealer at the end of the lease. The Schneiders and other PowerLease users are operating new equipment with the latest technology and have reduced the chance of downtime. Cash fl ow, tax and accounting benefi ts are also possible. Additionally, monthly payments are lower than traditional fi nancing and no sales tax is due at signing.
The Schneiders selected the three-year, 3,000-hour option with all parts and labor covered. “Based on our past
