As Permanent Timetable Manager, you will identify timetable options to improve our offer to customers, enhance passenger capacity and thereby promote customer satisfaction and revenue growth. You will then develop preferred options into robust and practicable detailed timetables, and produce efficient unit resource plans, to support excellent operational performance. You will need to comply with contractual requirements and timescales. Essential to this role will be the ability to think laterally, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication within the various internal departments, and with other TOCs and Network Rail.


Committed Rail investment in the North of England - particularly NW electrification and the Northern Hub scheme - gives the opportunity for rail services across the North of England to be revolutionised, making this a particularly exciting time to be a key component of this work.


A good relevant working knowledge of the rail industry is essential, along with the ability to grasp new ideas quickly.

ABOUT THE ROLE


An exciting opportunity has arisen to be considered for the role of Station Delivery Manager with LOROL.


Station delivery managers are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by proactively managing our stations. This includes effectively managing the day to day performance of employees on duty, safety, cash regulations, security and cleanliness, availability of information for customers, efficient response to operational issues and ensuring that all equipment functions correctly.


Exceptional customer service skills are essential and applicants will need to demonstrate an understanding of customer needs and the ability to respond accordingly.


The role will provide motivation and guidance to employees and reinforce high


standards with regard to performance, customer service and safety. We are therefore looking for applicants with proven skills in leading, motivating and developing employees both on an individual basis and within a team. Applicants will need to demonstrate proven experience of working to performance targets, managing contractors and achieving set objectives within set timescales.


Excellent communication skills, the ability to develop high performance and a problem solving approach are all essential prerequisites for this post.
